Angling on Bornholm is a sensory journey, immersing you in a local microcosm where the warm, fuzzy feeling of the island’s community provides a stark contrast to the wild, thunderous roar of the sea crashing against the rocky shoreline.
For seasoned sea trout anglers, nothing fuels the passion for the sport more than the thrill of pursuing a chrome-plated trophy beneath the towering, majestic cliffs of Bornholm. For trolling anglers, the open sea offers an endless playground, allowing boats to zigzag beneath the vast sky. Suddenly, one of the downriggers springs to life, and a giant shimmering salmon erupts from the water, its mouth firmly clamped around the bait. For families with children, the harbours, limestone pits and Put & Take lakes provide a peaceful oasis where everyone can enjoy quality time together in the beauty of the great outdoors – though a thrilling catch can surprise you at any moment. Bornholm offers all of this, and so much more.
