Route description

The cycle route from Rønne to Nexø starts in Robbedale just outside Rønne and begins by following the old railway track between winding fields and gentle forests. Along the way, you pass Bornholm’s best preserved round church, Nylars.

Stop halfway and experience Aakirkeby with Bornholm’s “cathedral” and the large NaturBornholm experience center, where you can experience Bornholm’s exciting nature and geology with your own senses.

Across the mild farmland with a view towards Dueodde and the Baltic Sea, you come to Nexø, which despite the Russian bombardment in 1945 has many fine old houses and a vibrant and creative urban environment.
