It is important for Bornholm’s other tourists, Bornholm residents and motorhome campers, that everyone has some good experiences on Bornholm. Everyone should therefore show consideration for each other and respect the nature-sensitive and scenic areas that characterize Bornholm.
The location of your motorhome should therefore be done in such a way that this is respected.
It is not permitted to set up tables and benches, grills, erect awnings, or roof tents that allow for overnight stays in connection with parking a motorhome or other motor vehicles unless permitted by signage or another form of communicated permission from the landowner.
In towns and urban areas, you can drive and park a motorhome on all roads as long as you comply with the general traffic laws for driving and parking motor vehicles. It is also allowed to rest in the motorhome’s sleeping cabin.
However, if there are separate rules for motorized driving and parking in the specific location, you must comply with them. Signage can regulate, for example, the time you can park or the type of vehicle. For instance, if it is indicated that parking is not allowed from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, this must be respected.
It is not permitted to set up tables and benches, grills, erect awnings, etc., without seeking permission from the road authority.
