The route starts in the bison forest itself. The 12-kilometre trail meanders through untouched parts of Almindingen Forest. You may even catch a glimpse of European bison wandering among the trees in the forest. Read more here
The unique hike around Hammerknuden on the north side of Bornholm is just 7 kilometres long. Even so, be sure to set aside 2-3 hours for this hike, as the hilly terrain offers plenty of challenges. The route starts and ends in Sandvig. On the way round, you will pass the northernmost point of Bornholm at Lille Fyr.
