If you’re not driving, you can take the Kombardo Express bus, which runs directly from Copenhagen to Bornholm – ferry included in the price. Bicycles can be brought along for an extra fee (e-bikes not allowed).
Prefer to travel by train? You can reach Ystad via a quick transfer in Malmö. In general, it’s possible to bring your bike on the train, but be sure to check the specific rules for your departure – more information is available at DSB → DSB Standard Bornholm and Bringing Your Bike on the Train.
Finally, you can also fly to Bornholm with DAT. DAT operates direct flights from Copenhagen Airport year-round – the flight takes only 35 minutes. In summer, there are also direct flights from Billund, Aalborg, and Aarhus. You can bring your bike as special baggage.
