From Nexø, the route goes along the coast to the fishing village of Aarsdale, where the locals have been catching fish since the Middle Ages. From here, turn inland towards the beautiful area above Slamrebjerg and into the Paradisbakkerne towards Bodilsker’s beautiful old church. According to legend, the devil threw his hat at the church bells one day he was irritated by the sound. The stone hit the bell tower and turned into a stone that still hangs there.
Continue through Pedersker and Slusegaard, where the 55th north latitude and the 15th east longitude meet. The route continues along Strandmarksvejen and past the 70 m high Bornholmertårn.
Feel the scent of the pine forest at Dueodde and the dunes in your nose. The fine sand at Dueodde has its own sound under your feet and is an ideal place for a dip.
Continue towards the small fishing village of Snogebæk with its wooden bridge and island harbor, which lies 100 meters out to sea. Roll past the beautiful Balka Beach and end the trip back in Nexø.
