The route starts at Lilleborg. You can park here, or further along Segenvej. Among other places, at Christianshøjkroen, which is worth a visit. The route starts with a sharp little climb up Askelundsvej to get your legs going.
Then you hit a section with rolling terrain. From km 14 it goes up and down the eastern ridge and this is where you really feel your legs.
After a trip to the eastern part of Almindingen and Vestermarie Plantage, the trip heads towards Rytterknægten. Via the climb on Guldbakkevejen you reach the last climb. It is 4.4 km long and initially climbs up Kong Frederik d. X’s vej.
It then flattens out to climb the last stretch again towards Rytterknægten along Rågelundsvej. On the way up there is an excellent viewpoint midway.
