Surface: asphalt and a little gravel road
Cycle from Gudhjem down to the small fishing village of Melsted and visit the idyllic agricultural museum Melstedgård with live animals. From here, cycle up along the Kobbeådalen with the 8-meter-high Stavehøl Waterfall. Turn past Østerlars Rundkirke, which is Bornholm and Denmark’s largest and oldest round church and stop at Bornholm’s Medieval Center and experience what it was like to live in the 12th century.
Take the route back to the coast and catch the National Bicycle Route 10 towards Svaneke. On the way you pass the cliff-deep Randkløve Skår and the fine fishing villages of Bølshavn and Listed. In Svaneke you can refuel with all sorts of sweets and stretch out on the small secret Hullehavn with a diving board and children’s beach.

Svaneke may not be known as a seaside resort, but the town nevertheless has a really lovely beach. The small sandy beach between the rocks in Hullehavn at the eastern end of the town was created by filling in sand. Read more here.
