The route starts in Nordskoven in Rønne North and goes gently through a pleasant forest with beautiful forest lakes and secret industrial relics. In Hasle you can explore the lively harbor and visit the Bornholm Center for Crafts. From Hasle the route runs north just a few meters from the sea towards the small fishing village of Helligpeder. Further north you pass Jons Kapel, Ringebakkerne and the mountain town of Vang until the route goes uphill again towards Slotslyngen and Hammershus, Northern Europe’s largest castle ruin.
From here you can follow the road to Rønne or take the same route back. And since the route runs along the west coast, it can also be timed to coincide with the sunset wherever you want to see it.
