From Aakirkeby, follow bicycle route 21 back east until you turn onto bicycle route 24 towards Pedersker, where you can get off and experience the church from 1100 and its many legends. From here, the route heads due west of National Cycle Route 10.
Take a well-deserved rest on the fine sandy beach of Boderne and take a stroll down to the Arnager fishing village, where you can find smoked herring, a climate bench and Northern Europe’s longest wooden bridge over seawater, which leads to a small island harbor. From Arnager it is only a short drive to Rønne, Bornholm’s largest town.

Pedersker Church is named after the apostle Peter and is probably the oldest church on Bornholm, from around 1100. Its simple shape at least indicates an early construction period. Read more here.
In Boderne on the south coast of Bornholm you will find a beautiful sandy beach. Find your own little pot in the dunes. Play ball on the beach and at the shore. Swim and jump off the few large rocks in the water. Read more here.
Arnager Harbour is Denmark's first island harbour, built in 1884 to prevent the harbour from silting up. It is connected to the coast via Northern Europe's longest wooden bridge over seawater at just over 188 m. The bridge was completely renovated from the ground up and reopened in October 2019, and is visited by many, both permanent residents and tourists. Read more here.
