3. Newsletter

Destination Bornholm uses MailChimp to send newsletters. Email addresses are processed directly at MailChimp and are covered by their privacy policy, which can be read here. Destination Bornholm and MailChimp do not share personal information from the system with others. You can always unsubscribe the newsletters at any time. If you want an employee to personally check if all informations has been deleted from MailChimp, please contact Destination Bornholm. Contact information can be found at the bottom of the page.

4. Webshop

Orders through the webshop on bornholm.info are going through WooCommerce. When you make an order, you agree that Destination Bornholm may process the information regarding ordering, delivery and billing as well as for the use of statistics. Destination Bornholm records information about the customer’s name, address and telephone number, as well as contact information on the recipient. The employees at Destination Bornholms have access to information for the use of packing, delivery and billing.

The information is kept for a minimum of 5 years after the accounting period. If you wish for the information to be deleted after this period, please contact Destination Bornholm.
By the law of Personal Data, you have the right to get insight into the personal data we have registered. If you want insight into the information, please send an email to info@bornholm.info.

5. Storage of data

You can delete your cookies at any time on your own device. Read how here. Personal information used for sending out newsletters (name, e-mail, etc.) are stored at MailChimp until you unsubscribe, or contact Destination Bornholm to delete manually. However, it should be noted that the unsubscribe of Destination Bornholm’s newsletter(s) does not necessarily mean that you unsubscribe from other companies‘ MailChimp newsletters, which you have subscribed to yourself.

Data regarding orders in the webshop are kept for a minimum of 5 years.
