Bornholm is situated in the Baltic Sea, which is the perfect playground if you love fishing. And no matter how much previous experience you might have, the “Pearl of the Baltic Sea” is capable of providing you with just the right challenge. Once offshore, there are lots of different fisheries to delve into, and you can learn more about them in the following:
Since January 1st, 2017, new catch limitations for cod have been introduced west of Bornholm: From February through March, you’re only allowed to catch and keep three cod a day. For the remainder of the year, only five cod per fisherman per day may be kept. Furthermore, there’s a minimum landing size of 35 centimetres. Fish smaller than that shall be returned quickly and safely. For more information, please refer to the website of the Ministry of Environment and Food of Denmark.
