The U.S. magazine has millions of readers of their magazine and their website. Therefore, it is a great honor for Bornholm to receive recognition in form of this nomination, as the only Island in Denmark.
Many Danes know how much Bornholm has to offer, but now the news has also reached all the way to the U.S.A. Travel and Leisure has visited Bornholm several times in recent years. And in 2016 Travel and Leisure wrote the article: “The Tiny Island Changing New Nordic Cuisine”. You can read the article here.
Ww don’t know if it is Travel and Leisure’s several visits to the rocky island that have made the outcome for the nomination, but the nomination is according to Travel and Leisure a result of the continuous press work and relations.
The nomination is a recognition to all of Bornholm, that all can be proud of.
