Stay at Frederik V´s Stenbrudsgaard
Stenbrudsgaarden was built by Frederik V in 1759 and is listed. It was renovated in 2022 with respect for history and returned to the original homes, which are now offered as holiday homes.
The farm forms the framework of a beautiful, cobbled courtyard and has a total of 5 spacious homes with many beautiful details, surrounded by its own park. The place exudes history and atmosphere and gives you the best starting point for a wonderful holiday in beautiful surroundings.
The inspector’s home is 180 sqm and is suitable for 8-10 people. The home contains an entrance hall, 2 large living rooms, 1 kitchen / living room, 4 bedrooms and a shower / toilet.
The stonemason’s home and the blacksmith’s home are each approx. 125 sqm. And suitable for 4-6 people. They contain entrance hall, 2 living rooms ensuite, 2 bedrooms and new kitchen as well as renovated / newly established shower and toilet.
The brewery is about 80 sqm. And suitable for 2-3 people. The home contains an entrance hall with an old fireplace, new toilet and shower, a studio with a combined kitchen, living room and bedroom.
The refuge is located in the stable building and is approx. 170 sqm. and can accommodate 4-6 people.
The homes have high and beautiful beamed ceilings. The floors are wide plank floors and raw sandstone floors. You have your own garden and in extension of this is the park. The living rooms have lake and sea views and in front access to a beautiful flower garden.

Stenbrudsgaarden is located north of Nexø in a beautiful area with its own 23,000 sqm. put-and-take lake opposite the farm, which borders directly on the sea with a rampart as a separation between lake and sea. The area is recreational with nature trails and a rich bird and animal life, with direct access to the coastal path. Around the lake there are tables and benches as well as barbecue areas for free use.
