Artist Jo Dam Kærgaard & Høstet are celebrating their 10th anniversary on the island

For 10 years, Jo Dam Kærgaard has been working as an artist, initiator, curator and with her active exhibition space in Gudhjem Banken on Bornholm. At this summer’s exhibition, works by Jo Dam Kærgaard are presented, from all 10 years. Rocks, stream, forest and marsh, sea, sky, horizon and “everything that just happens”, are some of the motifs in Jo Dam Kærgaard’s unique works, which also include sculptures. As a recurring summer tradition, the art is displayed together with products from Høstet.

Camilla and Mads Meisner established Denmark’s first organic sea buckthorn plantation in Ibsker in 2010. In 2014, the first Høstet sea buckthorn products came on the market. Today, 10 years later, everything from berries and the leaves of the bushes is turned into juice, jam, syrup, oils, flakes and this year a sea buckthorn leaf tea has been added to the large selection, which is produced in-house. In collaboration with mainly local producers, the sea buckthorn range also includes soaps, shampoos, creams, beer, schnapps, gin, liqueur and wine gums.
