Heaven in the South: Nexø-Paradisbakkerne-Nexø
Length: 16 km
Surface: 15 km asphalt and 1 km gravel road
Start from Nexø along the sea towards Aarsdale, before turning inland. From here it goes uphill along the small Oksemyrevej, which takes you directly into Paradisbakkerne.
The Paradisbakkerne can easily be experienced on wheels, but it is best if you also take the time to venture into the landscape on foot along the area’s three well-marked hiking routes. South of Oksemyrevej you come to Rokkestenen, Grydesø and Gamleborg (follow the signs), while to the north you will find heather areas, cairns and wild blueberries.
Turn on to the road and freewheel along Klintebyvejen back towards Nexø.
