The route starts in Vang Havn, from where you are allowed to set off on perhaps Denmark’s toughest hill. Here you continue along the stretch in slightly hilly terrain, before it comes to a long descent on winding roads through Slotslyngen, you pass Hammerhus at high speed on the road, which continues on to Sandvig.
Here you turn sharply onto Fyrvej, and after a few hundred meters of flat road, the last part of the trip goes up with the final destination at the top of Hammer Fyr. A unique route by Danish standards.

The Hammeren lighthouse was built on the highest point of Hammerknuden, Ørnebjerget, in 1872 – built of granite stone that was quarried just a few hundred meters from here. Due to its high location, 82 meters above sea level, its light can be hidden by low-hanging clouds or fog. Read more here..
