Boderne Harbour

Visit the lovely harbour with the charming fishing cabins on the southern coast of Bornholm.

Boderne Harbour

Boderne Harbour is a small private port with a water depth of only one metre. The harbour is well protected and small visiting pleasure craft are welcome.

The harbour is home to around 45 local skiffs and pleasure crat in a picturesque collection of small buildings nestled into the steep coastal slope, telling the history of the harbour.

The harbour is located along the south coast, at the centre of the isle of sunshine’s 50 kilometres of beautiful sandy beaches, and it is a magnificent spot for enjoying the Bornholm summer.

A café and one of the biggest fashion clothing shops on the island are situated about 250 metres from the harbour.

In the other direction, 300 metres east of the harbour, Læseåen stream flows into the sea, and an interesting network of paths follows the stream to the ingenious sluice systems which served as freshwater facilities for catching big sea trout on their way upstream.
