Aarsdale Harbour is an active fishing town situated on the Bornholm Eastcoast, two nautical miles south of Svaneke. The harbour was grounded in 1869.
Also here the harbour has made the town, which is known for the many smokehouses. Aarsdale was one of the bigger fishing communities with over 30 fishing vessels.
Directly on the quay Aarsdale has it’s own meeting place and shop, Høkeren, where guest sailors can meet the locals and make extra shopping, and close to the harbour you find an active smokehouse and fish-shop.
Above the harbour towers one of Denmarks’s best preserved dutch windmills. The windmill, the town landmark, was built in 1877.
