Relaxation pure and simple
Our guests cherish our hotel’s marvellous location, set among old fruit trees down by the sea, with no road or path separating the enormous park-like garden from the shore line. We have thriving fig and mulberry trees, while out on the beach rocks, lizards flit to and fro.
Excursions
From here, it is just a short drive to the wide sandy beaches in the south of the island, to the north there are magnificent cliff paths down to the sea, and in the island centre are centuries-old woods teeming with game, and extensive heathlands. Walking, cycling, swimming, angling – all are available, and golfers can look forward to four 18-hole courses – none of them more than 20-25 minutes away by car.
Culinary experiences
Just round the corner is the cosy “Louisekroen” restaurant, serving all kinds of beef specialities. Down by the harbour in Listed, just two kilometres further along, you will find the “Bay Frost” café and ice-cream parlour. – And in Svaneke, there is all you could desire – from the hotel restaurant at “Siemsens Gaard” in the harbour, to the ice cream parlour at Pernille Bülow’s glass-blowing studio, to the picturesque “Bryghus” or brewery with its home-brewed beer and hearty food. And there’s also the renowned baker’s shop and the boiled sweet manufactory on the market place and so on and so on.
