Rønne Theatre in the centre of Rønne
Take a seat in one of the red chairs and you will sit in 195 (!) years of theatre culture of Bornholm. Rønne Theatre has been in daily use since 1823. Rønne Theatre is the oldest theatre of the country and tells about a rich theatre tradition in Bornholm with i.a. dialect comedies and plays, which are written and performed in the original language of Bornholm. Today, the theatre is being used by local theatre amateurs, for performances of tour theatres and as a new drama school for the children of the island.
