Lyngholt Family Camping - Staying in the middle of nature, close to Allinge.

The site:

Welcome to Lyngholt Family Camping – our own 160.000 m2 large scenic camping site with playgrounds, swimmingpool, dogwalking forest, fishing lake and forest with direct walking access to Hammershus, the sea and the most beautiful sunsets.

If you and your family like active holidays you are in the right spot. Especially during the danish school holidays we have an exciting and varied activity program for both children and adults. But also in the outer seasons we would like to be the frame of some nice vacation days. We live at the camping site and are ready to welcome you all year round – also in the winter. We have cabins and caravans for rental, as well as spaces for caravans, campers and tents. You can book here. In the kiosk we have our own small bakery and bake every morning.

Nature and the nearby area:

Our camping site is situated in the middle of the most exciting and unique nature on Bornholm. Small quarry lakes, Slotslyngen and the steep cliff coast is in our ”backyard”. Only 2 km to the north are Hammershus, Hammerhavn and Moseløkken quarry, where there is possibility for cliff climbing, kayaking and horseback riding. 2 km to the south is the bathing lagoon and the former Vang granite quarry, which is made into a beautiful recreational area with rocks, climbing routes, rapelling, MTB tracks, etc. 3 km to Allinge and the public meeting.

Peak season:

Family friendly camping site with free pool (heated during the peak season) as well as possibilty for buying sauna, spabath and massage.

Large activity program for both children and adults during the danish school summer vacation. Nightly runs, pool party, fitness, ball games, twistbread baking, waffle baking, whole grilled piglet, common grill, smoked herrings etc. See more about facilities on our camping site and Book

Sustainable camping site

In our camping site we have made preparations to offer sustainable accomodations. We have optimized energy sources, offal sorting and our ressources. Read more in our website or ask us directly.

Outer seasons:

Do not cheat yourself of the experience of Bornholm in the spring, fall or winter. At these times you can also experience the unique nature of Bornholm on walks, by running, on a MTB, by rockclimbing, etc.

The speciality on Bornholm during the winter is that you can get around undisturbed. Here you live in the middle of nature and it is quiet and has place for absorption. See more and Book

About us:

From 2020 we are the new camping site owners of Lyngholt. We have both grown up on Bornholm and therefore have a lot of local knowledge.

We have both spent most of our spare time in the Bornholm nature by running, kayaking,

MTB, bicycle road racing, climbing, rappelling, horseback riding etc.

We look forward to seeing our work and spare time melting together in servicing our guests.
