Bornholm will be filled with music from 21–26 June 2026, when 22 Norwegian school bands gather for one of Europe’s largest school band festivals.

Once again, Bornholm will come alive with music, colours, and festive atmosphere as Korpsfestival Bornholm 2026 takes place from 21–26 June. Throughout the week, the island’s towns and attractions will provide the setting for a series of impressive concerts featuring 22 Norwegian school bands and approximately 1,000 musicians participating in this year’s festival.

Star March in Gudhjem
21 June: Starting at 10:15 and 11:30

The bands will march along various routes through the town before gathering for a joint concert at the harbour – an event that always attracts a large audience. A different group of school bands will perform at each start time and date.

Concert at Hammershus
21 June: 15:00

The school bands will march up to the castle ruins and perform concerts at several locations. A different group of school bands will perform on each date.

Sugar march in Svaneke
22 June: Starting at 9:30 , 10:00 , 11:00 , and 12:00
25 June: 11:00

The bands will follow different routes through Svaneke, performing at local shops and artisan workshops along the way. A different group of school bands will perform at each start time and date.

Concert in Brændesgårdshaven
22 June: Starting at 11:00, 13:00, and 15:00
25 June: 13:00

The bands will march through the park and gather on the lawn for their own performances before concluding with a joint concert and march-out. A different group of school bands will perform at each start time and date.

Midsummer’s Eve Celebrations
It has become a tradition for a Norwegian school band to lead torchlight procession to the bonfire at many of the island’s Midsummer celebrations on 23 June. Bands will participate in events in Listed, Hasle, Østerlars, Bølshavn, Tejn, Sandvig, Snogebæk, Aakirkeby, Nyker, Klemensker, Østermarie, Gudhjem, Nexø, and Svaneke.

The following bands will also perform their own concerts:

22 June, 19:30: Høvik og Lier Skolekorps together with Tranby Skolekorps at Svaneke Harbour.

23 June, 15:00: Peik Skolekorps and Smestad Skoles Musikkorps at Allinge Harbour by “Harpen”.

26 June, 11:00: Ranheim Skolemusikkorps at Gudhjem Harbour.
