Gudhjem Camping Bornholm

Gudhjem Camping has a calm and relaxed atmosphere. When you are at the campsite it is possible to enjoy the sight of the rocks and the view of the blue waters of the Baltic Sea.

Gudhjem Camping is for the “adult audience”, there is no playground in the area.

Go for a walk on the rocks and a magnificent nature is suddenly very close, as is the silence. Enjoy the view over the blue waters of the Baltic Sea, where you can also see Christiansø in the distance.

Gudhjem Camping is close to the town, which is approx. 800 meters to the harbour. Walk along the old idyllic and charming rescue path, which goes from the campsite into Gudhjem harbour, this trip takes about 10 minutes. When you are in the city, try and take a walk along the many small cozy streets.

At the campsite is the lagoon, which is a stone beach, it is possible to swim from there. If you prefer a sandy beach, this is about 300 meters away from the campsite, you can go there through the idyllic and charming town of Melsted.

The campsite is also a very good starting point for excursions to the rest of Bornholm. Here are all the things that help make the camping trip a good holiday.

Idyllic Gudhjem is listed as a mountain village in danskebjerge.dk. The town’s almost 400-metre long main street, which starts at the harbor and ends at the main road, rises 38 metres, corresponding to an increase of just around 10% on average. The milk path, which is a side road to the main street, has an increase of 18.5%.

Gudhjem town has a lot to offer, e.g. eateries, Hos Mette, the Gudhjem Special ice cream shop, the Karamelkompagniet, the Pancake House, the Gudhjem smokehouse, Bornholm’s medieval center, the Melstedgård agricultural museum, Borngolf and the Gudhjem archive. From the harbor there is a boat to Christiansø and a boat to Helligdoms klipperne
