Troldskoven (the Troll Forest) at Stammershalle
Close to Hotel Stammershalle you'll find a forest, which is called the Troll Forest - and it once even had a Zoological Garden.
The Troll Forest is a rather new name for the forest, which is situated at the coastal road Sdr. Strandvej, southeast of Hotel Stammershalle. Here is a Passage Grave (Elverhøj), as well as Denmark’s third-largest glacial erratic of 430 tons and the remains of a zoological garden, that opened here in 1934.
