Details such as crackles, layers, structure and colour nuances are significant in the experience of Maja Frendrup’s work. She models her ceramic vases by hand and each individual piece has its own unique expression.
In the open workshop in Sandvig you can see pieces of all sizes and with many interesting surfaces. You can also follow the creation of new work, and see how, for example, sand and stones from the beaches of Bornholm are used.
Maja Frendrup graduated from the Royal Danish Academy in Bornholm in 2014. She is a member of the Arts & Crafts Association Bornholm and the Danish Association of Craftsmen and Designers.
