A beautiful cycle track along the former railway line
Starting in the early 1900s, there were train services from Rønne to the villages of Sandvig, Gudhjem and Nexø. The trains drove on Bornholm until 1968 and it’s on these railway sections that you are going to enjoy Bornholm. The cycle route from Rønne to Nyker follows this former line of the Bornholm Railway Company.
Experience the most beautiful rocks of Bornholm
After Klemensker you are back the old railway line, passing through the spectacular Kleven, where the path leads between steep rock walls to the lush Spellinge Bog. From the village of Rø, which used to have a station, the route runs downhill to the Bornholm Art Museum and Helligdomsklipperne (Sanctuary Rocks), some of the most beautiful rock formations on the island.
