Maja Frendrup Ceramics
Experimenting with the ceramic surface and using glaze, structure and layers to create an experience for the viewer, Maja Frendrup is a ceramic artist who focus on the qualities of the material and how to enhance them.
Details such as crackles in the fine glazed porcelain that gives a peek through to the rough grogged stoneware clay underneath catch our attention and make us want to experience closer. In the shop you will find both “one of a kind” tableware and sculptural pieces. Maja Frendrup is a member of Arts and Crafts Association Bornholm.
Outside her workshop you can find Majas ceramics in Kirkegade 6, Allinge which is the adress of a shop with ceramic, glass, jewelry and textiles from 19 members of Arts and Crafts Association Bornholm. See more at @craftsbornholm
