Gudhjem Is was established in 1959 and is today driven by the 3rd generation of the same family. And still located in the same building which dates back to 1884. During summer 1962, Gudhjem Is was the first ever shop on Bornholm to sell soft ice and is still the day today one of the most popular ice shops on the island, where you can get ice cream with the best ingredients from the local dairy farm.
Ice Cream for great and small
We also offer ice cream that comes in wafers with homemade sweets, coffee-to-go and milk shakes, that you can enjoy in our cosy back yard or right at the harbour front at Gudhjem harbour, where our shop is located. And if you should need some other sweets, you’ll find a lot in our shop. For instance the Gudhjem lollipop, which comes in the colours of the Bornholm flag red and green.
